If you are living in Sunderland and are in need of help from the Sunderland Guild of Help, you must apply through a Social Worker or a Professional who is familiar with our system. All applications are treated with complete confidentiality and once received from an appointed social worker and accepted, they are brought before the Committee members. Unfortunately due to demand and limited finances, we cannot accept all applications, and we can only accept applications from residents of the city of Sunderland, United Kingdom. Applications will be rejected that request money or loans. In special circumstances in the past, The Guild has acquired refurbished goods to give to those considered most in need (for example beds, washing machines and fridges), however for financial reasons we cannot supply new goods or goods made to order.
